The older i get, the more aware i become of how much ignorance my parents have in their beliefs. The way they’ve raised their boys and girls differently, the decisions they’ve forced upon us, it’s all selfish. It’s not because that’s what’s best for us, but it’s what makes them look best. And i knew they were wack lowkey and I’d fight when i was a teenager but now i just keep my lips pursed. Y’all do what you gotta do, and I’m gonna do what i have to to take care of me and get out. No point in arguing anymore
